A present for myself - Book with my photos
Hello All,
After 15 years of taking photos, I finally decided to have a photobook made. After all that time I gathered enough nice thematic photos to fill up at least 50 pages of a book. Fewer pages in a book would be too laborious in proportion to the book content.
As this was my first photobook and I have no experience with creating one, I tried book from Saal Digital. All I had to do was download their software and simply start inserting photos into the pages. There was also an option to automatically create the book from selected photos but I was not really satisfied with the result.

First update after... 3 years :D
Wow, I haven't written a journal for so long. And so many things changed in my life during that time. I changed my job, I got married, our son was born just three months ago and hopefully we will move to our new home by the end of this year.
Apart from the things above that make me happy continuously, one thing happened yesterday that made my day. I found photos from year 2012 that I have thought I had accidentally deleted them back in 2012! 7 years 10 months and 5 days. Wow, that long hmmm? Seems like eternity when I finished high school and went to university, had plenty of time for both my photography (which sucked at the time... oh, wait, it still does) and browsing dA.

When I was about 11-14 years old I went to summer camp every year and one of the camp leaders sang various songs at the campfire every evening, mostly balads and I loved it. and I understand - honestly, not even cute animals get faves
I already know which type of photos usually gets a lot of attention. But in the past, some of those shots would get 2000 - 3000 faves a day, now I am lucky when it gets 700 faves and 3000 views. I used to have 12 000 views for a single photo a day! It also means that there are less people who see your prints so only few people have bought them after the change of the system
and yeah, constructive criticism is nice, maybe try that suggested thing and add lines "I would welcome constructive critism to get better. What do you like about the photo and what should I improve? Thanky you!"
